Eliane Konishi is a Brazilian visual artist who has lived in Japan for over 33 years. A wife, mother of two, and living with multiple sclerosis, Eliane has transformed her journey into a bridge of art and resilience between Brazil and Japan.
Artistic Journey and Personal Challenges
Starting with photography in 2010 and moving into makeup artistry in 2011, Eliane explored various forms of art, from eyebrow design to crochet. On January 18, 2025, she began her painting career with her first artworks, “Geisha” and “Butterfly,” marking the start of a path dedicated to blending cultural influences and personal expression.
2025 Participations and Awards
In May 2025, Eliane participated in Arte Brasil, where her work gained attention for its authenticity. In October of the same year, she joined the Business Connection, solidifying her presence in the art scene. Also in October 2025, Eliane exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, where she received the Humanity Award — a recognition not only of her technical talent but also of the profound humanity within her art.
